Alright! 3lbs down… Well… That was until it was someone’s birthday yesterday (cream cake) and someone left today (Jam Donut and giant cookie) so I have put on another lb after I weighed today. Easy fixed though!
And my wii fit age is 20 🙂 I plan on starting that elusive 30 day challenge that always gets the better of me!
I have the day off on Monday, and I have to say I am in serious need of it. The possibilities of what I could do are making me giddy! I could finally finish my Me:TAV class, digi scrapping, work on my Disney binder… 🙂 The fun list is endless!
Gareth and I had been trying to decide what to do together. Something that we could get a bit of exercise, and spend some quality time out and about – not on our butts at home playing on the computer!
So I heard about geocaching, looked into it, and we decided that’s what we’d do 🙂 Gareth got the app for his phone, and we went out this morning.
The first geocache we went to find is local, but the hilarious thing is, it wasn’t what I was expecting. That’s why we ended up walking to another one instead, and by chance I found it and then realised that it was a tiny thing we were looking for and so went back to the first one as we pretty much went by it to go back home anyway.
How small? This small – this is the log book that rolls up inside:
Here’s the phone on which we were navigating:
We had walked quite a way, so we rested at home for a bit while I potted some plants in the hanging basket, and then I just had to go out again and search for a few more, with Gareth in tow… and this time we found 2 more slightly larger ones:
And I left some moo stickers and a card in this one, and in the other just a moo card:
I’m up (G is still in bed, but I will have to get him up soon if I am to shower and get ready by 11!) as it’s the Saturday before Christmas! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I will grab my camera and tripod ready to have fun at nan’s house. I had fun doing some photos last year 🙂
As for the crash, I was right when I said I didn’t see any other cars involved. Both the man who died and the dangerous driver were in the same car. I heard rumours they had stolen the car, had been drinking and were doing over 100mph, so then I didn’t feel so bad as I thought at the time it was an regular man going about his business that had been killed… Then I had the realisation that as they were being so careless, what if they would have hit any of us other cars going in the other direction, and it was a story about us on the front page? The whole thing has left me very down and not very Christmassy. I very rarely go home at lunch, I was going home to get my studio Calico kit which as it turns out had been left on the doorstep so it was a good thing.
The car had split into 2, and was unrecognisable from the one angle. Everything was as I had described it – right down to the white van that was in front of the car in front of me that had pulled over to go help, on the front page of the local paper. Only the car had been moved on to the road.
Anywho, less depressing stuff!
I just read the Sims 3 blog, and they already have a “hart” family. Aww, man. I will have to think of a new surname, unless I just play that family in lieu of making my own Legacy. Apart from the fact the parents are insane. Literally.
My mum’s present has arrived and it’s not half bad. Yay! We got Lips dirt cheap from Woolies. If anyone didn’t know already, the awesome shop that is Woolworths is closing down because of the credit crunch. The company has gone under which is so so sad. More info at wiki. It had been going 100 years next year 🙁
But I sang some songs with G last night. We got a ton of gamer points, and I was sooooooooooooo pleased with myself as I unlocked all the medals and got a really high score (the highest actually – “Big Bang”) while singing Coldplay’s “Yellow”. I will play it later when he’s at his Christmas party 🙂
Not too bad for my second ever attempt, and my first time with a template and carving kit. The kit cost £1 from Woolies (you can get tons of stuff in Woolworths lol!) Me and G were supposed to do one each, but sadly I’ve lost him to Fable 2 which he’s got and played constantly since he finished work at 11.30am on Friday. His is still waiting for him.
Now for Scrapping for this week’s part of my class:
This part, I thought was pure genious and such a funky cool idea! A mini book in our album!!
There are pages for: My mum, dad, Stewart, Claire, me and Gareth 🙂 That’s just my page.
and here’s my funky attempts at some “artist shots” in Second life. I was dancing at Scoutlounge 🙂
And I got myself a cute little outfit together (hair and top from “Wrong“)
Jeans from Jarnia (they have cool freebie boxes with awesome stuff in. You can see me wearing a Jarnia shirt in this pic) and the shoes are on sale at Lassitude and Ennui – I loooooooove their shoes. In fact I have several pairs lol. They have some free sandals going at the moment 🙂 and I picked up a pair of boots while I was at it.
*strokes and drools over the Studio Calico kit in hands* I think Taniwha is insane lol, I am so in love with Studio Calico! It probably also looked like rather dodgy dealings in the Paperarts carpark as myself and the local scrapper exchanged money for a big brown paper bag lol. But I’m in love with everything – bit OTT with the flowers in the kit, but the stamps… OH the STAMPS! You must check out the website.
I did this with the kit for Cathy’s class:
and here’s one un-SC related:
Seriously, if I didn’t have scrapping right now I’d be going insane from boredom. Well, scrapping and G to drive me around to random places so I’m not stuck in the flat lol. But I got back into Animal Crossing today – it’s the last day of the Acorn Festival and I had to pull tons of weeds out of the ground and kill the damn bugs in my little house, I haven’t played it in so long. I need to try and persuade my mum to get the game so I can visit her town and stuff lol.
Finally enough strength to finish the page 🙂
Then while in Avilion, right by the camp fire is a cute little box with puppies in.
I had to take one away with me! I went to one of the showcase places “7 days bakery”, so much fun! Me and the puppy went and went on the tour, and made some yummy chocolate cakes…
I think eating the cakes are the coolest – interesting things happen! I did see one girl walking in a group with about 3 other girls and they were in hysterics as she took off!
During my waking moments (dad bought me Lucozade to help with the lacking of energy) I’m back into Second Life 🙂
If you happen to see “Lady Verity” in Avalion which is where I’m hanging at the moment (along with Quan Li), please come say hi 🙂
And I’ve got an adult colouring book (it’s a book on horses, get your mind out the gutter lol), and Asda have games for £3.98 so we have Battleships. It’s also quite scary to see how much of a little Hannah Montana collection I have going. In the newspaper they had a voucher for the first issue of the Hannah Montana magazine for free, but W H Smiths ran out, so I don’t have it. I do have the Top Trumps game, 2 packs of trading cards, the sticker album and the photocard album. And some Sandylion stickers which was a random purchase in Waterstones.
G is off work this week too. It can’t be much fun for him at all, I’m very sad because we didn’t get to go away and I’m also always tired or out of breath unable to do very much, and when I’m awake I want to be doing something so end up on the computer on Second Life, lol.
I’m just not having a good day. In fact in a moment I plan on snuggling down on the sofa and playing on Hannah Montana game on my DS, and to cheer myself up I booked myself a place in Cathy Zielske’s class (but cost me $99 [£58] ouch.) but Cathy’s pages give me warm fuzzies, and I will have super cool pages that will give me warm fuzzies when I look at them.
While my DVD is still encoding, I thought I’d share my Sims latest…
This picture was taken a long time ago, the family were on their holidays in the mountains. As I’ve had quite a few generations in my family they’re pretty rich! They go on a holiday pretty often.
Currently Zac is on a gap year. He fell in love with an Island local. I’m trying to complete all the tourist things to see what happens 🙂
My computer has been making such a squealing noise for so long, so much so I hardly go on it. Then there’s the slowness (gave up trying to play Sims on it, and my laptop crashes constantly so I’ve not been on it), the blue screen of death and the fact I’ve had it for a good 4 years or so anyway. I think it was the Blue screen of death and the number of times it would just kinda shut itself down as if to say: “That’s it, I give up! No more!” that was the final straw for me.
So a trip to PC World with G in tow, we decided to go halves on a computer that would be both of ours rather than G feeling he couldn’t use my PC as it was mine and not both of ours, and we purchased one. It’s so cute! It’s a HP Elite M9277. It has an internal 500GB hard drive and an external one that you can insert into the computer like a cartridge with a further 500GB memory, and it has 4GB RAM. But all that memory will be super what with my photos – I used up a bunch of DVDs to back up my files lol. So G is looking forward to getting on World Of Warcraft, and I am looking forward to continuing my Legacy on Sims 2, and while G’s on WoW, I shall be on the Wii Fit working out. Oh, and it has lightscribe which was the seller for me! LOL! But next year when Sims 3 comes out I shall already be prepared 🙂
