Firstly to start off this post, here’s a shot of Oliver I got doing his cute pouty lip thing. It was taken in low light settings with my kit lens, so I’m glad how it turned out – I imagined it would have been much more blurry!

And now for the main event: Sims 3.  Now since the patch has been released it’s been a  MUCH better gaming experience. For me, I play on my laptop as it’s just easier for me and it allows my beloved Fiance to play on World of Warcraft on the main computer, and my laptop failed on CPU speed to be able to play it but I can play it fine

I started with Jamie Hart as I did in Sims 2 and immediately married him off to the first local who he met called Blair

They had two kids Avery Grace and Dylan and once Avery Grace was a young adult I moved her out to test the Story Progression She had a boyfriend and two kids, although the father of the children is questionable LOL! It doesn’t show in the family tree mode.
I continued on with Dylan who met Bella (yes, THE Bella!) at the gym and he married her, only to find out that she already had a little boy called Cary. Bella and Dylan had Connor together and as Cary was already around they didn’t have anymore kids. As Connor grew older I had a very funny time trying to get him hooked up with someone! He started off with a girl called Rayne who completely blew off all of his advances, so he started dating a girl called Lacy… Only she never came to see him – and in fact everytime he rang her to come over she would tell him to call back in so many hours or try again the next day. Now, I got annoyed so the last time she blew him off and told him to call back the next day I made Connor go to her house where she was watching TV. He proposed to her and she refused… so he went to see Rayne where she absolutely adored him! (Go figure…) So it was back to Lacy’s house where he broke up with her and things got VERY ugly… Seriously she was yelling and screaming at him to get out so he obliged!

Now at Rayne’s house there were a bunch of guys there which I assumed were her brothers… and boy was I wrong! Once married, only then did I realise that those 3 men were in fact her sons amd she was just days away from becoming an elder. Oops. So it was a race to get my heir! Then Aurora was born She’s currently a teen and the only 2 people left in the household are Connor and Aurora as Dylan died and just 2 days later Rayne died. Dylan did really well though, he got his lifetime wish and lots of aspiration points, so on the Hart section of the graveyard, Dylan stands proud above everyone else.

I’ve been terrible, I know. I took photos to share on the blog but never got round to it.  Currently I’m sat in the front room while Gaz is sleeping in the bedroom. I’ve been whispering on the phone to my mum as there is still no news on the baby yet.  My sister in law’s due date was Thursday, they took her in yesterday at 11am because of high blood pressure, and the poor thing is still going. They’re checking on her at 8.30am.  I still Tweet, so check the sidebar and follow me for the best chance of any latest news   I have unlimited texts on my phone so I tweet as and when which is a lot more often than my blogging! lol!  I’m currently wondering which will arrive first – my Studio Calico kit or the baby   My kit was shipped Wednesday last week and I generally get it about 7 days later, so I suppose at the moment it could be either!

Sims has sucked me right in, I’ve started my legacy family, which is another thing I’ve been meaning to share.  Jamie Hart is back   It’s funny to be “seeing” this character again after he was my starter sim for my legacy on Sims 2.  I will share more info. I will, but once the baby is born there will be lots of cooing and photos to keep my attention for a bit before I’m back.

And as for camping – the photos I wanted to share lol! Well, we will be going to my parents (that’s me and Gareth going)  as we’re putting the tent up in my brother’s garden while he’s not there. I have to be there at 10.30, but this proves an issue – as that’s when the post comes and I don’t want to miss it in case my kit arrives. Then, this afternoon is manic as I have to get into town after nan’s house pay a bill and other boring stuff and hope that I don’t miss anything baby-wise but after that everything is hunky dory.

I can’t wait to show off some newborn photos though

Woo-hoo! Pumpkin!

Not too bad for my second ever attempt, and my first time with a template and carving kit. The kit cost £1 from Woolies (you can get tons of stuff in Woolworths lol!) Me and G were supposed to do one each, but sadly I’ve lost him to Fable 2 which he’s got and played constantly since he finished work at 11.30am on Friday. His is still waiting for him.

Jeans from Jarnia (they have cool freebie boxes with awesome stuff in. You can see me wearing a Jarnia shirt in this pic) and the shoes are on sale at Lassitude and Ennui – I loooooooove their shoes. In fact I have several pairs lol. They have some free sandals going at the moment and I picked up a pair of boots while I was at it.

Then while in Avilion, right by the camp fire is a cute little box with puppies in.

I had to take one away with me! I went to one of the showcase places “7 days bakery”, so much fun! Me and the puppy went and went on the tour, and made some yummy chocolate cakes…


I think eating the cakes are the coolest – interesting things happen! I did see one girl walking in a group with about 3 other girls and they were in hysterics as she took off!

During my waking moments (dad bought me Lucozade to help with the lacking of energy) I’m back into Second Life

And I’ve got an adult colouring book (it’s a book on horses, get your mind out the gutter lol), and Asda have games for £3.98 so we have Battleships. It’s also quite scary to see how much of a little Hannah Montana collection I have going. In the newspaper they had a voucher for the first issue of the Hannah Montana magazine for free, but W H Smiths ran out, so I don’t have it. I do have the Top Trumps game, 2 packs of trading cards, the sticker album and the photocard album. And some Sandylion stickers which was a random purchase in Waterstones.

G is off work this week too. It can’t be much fun for him at all, I’m very sad because we didn’t get to go away and I’m also always tired or out of breath unable to do very much, and when I’m awake I want to be doing something so end up on the computer on Second Life, lol.

While my DVD is still encoding, I thought I’d share my Sims latest…

This picture was taken a long time ago, the family were on their holidays in the mountains. As I’ve had quite a few generations in my family they’re pretty rich! They go on a holiday pretty often.

Currently Zac is on a gap year. He fell in love with an Island local. I’m trying to complete all the tourist things to see what happens

Can I just say how awesome Retrology is? Jhuzen Ketsugo hosts the most amazing hunts ever, I participated during the Easter Egg hunt, and yesterday I had a go at the Rose Hunt. You can see I have some awesome new hair from Calla as well. Now I have a cool short do when I surf, and nice long hair for parties and such with a colour changing hair slide to match what I wear. Awesomeness. (gotta love the “GAS” sign in the back too lol

Now I only found 6 so far, and I doubt I’ll be able to find anymore before it finishes. Which is a poo, but I found the amazing Rose outfit that Jhuzen is modelling in her blog post! A guy was dressed up in it as I was dancing on the dancefloor with Jhuzen and Draco Tatsu and if you said hello back to him after he said it to you he’d give you money lol. It’s a place I’d certainly recommend checking out, lots to see and do there, and of course – awesome shops.

Oh and to continue from my Bento loving yesterday as I sat at work today with my broken tupperware box I was thinking about getting a nice bento box… I eyed up a Monokuro Boo bento box and a Blue Dragonfly one in ebay yesterday but I really wanted something with compartments and cutlery as opposed to chopsticks lol. But I decided to wait to see what I could find as a girl on the Eat My Bento community had a lovely yellow set…
Well if you know me at all, you know I don’t wait very well – incredibly impatient me – and in the end I bought this Bento Laptop Lunch this evening LOL! I thought it was a pretty good deal seeing as I got all what I wanted – the box and cutlery…. and I got a sleeve and ice pack and a book with lunch ideas too! There’s an American version of the site as well and they do a bag version with water bottle instead of the sleeve and icepack. So hopefully once it arrives I’ll be able to post some super pictures like these ones at Flickr’s Laptop Lunches pool.
