Faux Enamel Pins

Supplies needed:

You’ll need to print off some of the enamel pin images, I used the Google Slides file and printed in high quality, although you can make your own using the link for Mommyish’s action, Leah has some youtube videos on how to use it. Matt Photo Paper would look far better! I used Matt cardstock.

I held the cut out on to the mount board and cut out a backing for the image to give it more stability. Glue them together, PVA did the trick for me!

Sadly I could not find my glossy accents bottle anywhere, so instead I used PVA glue to seal the image by using a paintbrush.

One dried, I glued the pin backing on and it was ready to wear!

If you have any ideas for some pins, please let me know 🙂

I tried doing shrink plastic version (similar to these ones I done many years ago) They didn’t come out so good but it may be because of the type of shrink plastic I had and that I used a heat gun and not the oven, but I have seen some fab shrink plastic pins that have come out well so this would look awesome when done right!

25th November 2014

I have been working on somme Christmassy things this week (minus the wrapping paper, I actually did that 2 years ago!) Christmas is a month away! Yippee! We have been playing “Finally it’s Christmas” in preparation 😀

Don’t try to right click and save the images, you will need to click on the specific download link provided to get the high resolution image.

I did this 2 years ago but printer ran out of ink, last year was a crazy time being my son’s first Christmas and him being so young… This year? Printer refusing to print at all! But that isn’t going to stop me from finally putting it out there 🙂

17th September

Hey Everyone!  Hope you are all doing well 🙂 Life with an 11 month old is certainly keeping me on my toes (a certain little someone couldn’t wait until 21st November and was born on 11th October), and I hate feeling like I am neglecting this site, this is why I came up with the idea of sharing other people’s how tos & DIY tutorials which can be turned into a Hanson craft. You will notice over on the left the “Web Finds” Category which you can click.

Thanks for stopping by!

29th June 2013

I hope everyone who has Anthem already is enjoying the new album! I do apologise for lack of updates, but things have been super busy at home…

Baby Base/Davies

We are having a baby, due November 21st, and with my health issues it’s meaning that it’s being really quite difficult to cope day to day and am therefore under consultant led care with lots of extra appointments to squeeze in on top of my full time job and the broken sleep lol, but I am thoroughly enjoying this journey despite all that! So hopefully this explains a lot, but do not hestitate to come on over to the Facebook page and join in the fun! I have plenty of ideas that I want to get a start on though 😉
